QUICK INDIE BOOK REVIEW

After a gamma ray burst passes within light-years of earth ordinary people begin to spontaneously develop superhuman abilities. Many teens who develop these abilities choose to emulate the comic book superheroes that they’ve grown up with and become self styled vigilantes. But the cold hard reality is that most of these kids wind up dead. In this issue we follow six teenagers on their journey to becoming superheroes. Do any of them stand a chance of surviving? Or will they all wind up on a slab?

Had the pleasure in reading and reviewing Action Teenz#2. Great indie book with a lot of heart.

The art is crisp and bold. The story is not convoluted. It reminds me of the Teen Titans show on Cartoon Network, which

is not a bad thing.  Looking forward to #3.

The teenage vigilantes continue on their reckless course but are soon to realize that life is not a comic book. Can these superhuman teens survive as their plans go awry and their secrets crumble?
Or are they doomed as The Eye’s prophetic vision foretells?
